Scheduled Taster Sessions Available
Membership
Membership is open to any adult who would like to join the choir and there are no aauditions. To make it easier for new members to join we schedule Taster Sessions at key points in the year. You are invited to attend one of our scheduled free Taster Sessions to see if the choir meets your needs. If it does, we would be delighted to welcome you to our community. To request your free Taster, please complete the form at the bottom of this page.
Update – January 2024. We currently have limited places available for upper voices; lower voices are always welcome!
GUCC Membership includes:
- Rehearsals; both in person and recorded
- Vocal tuition including vocal healthcare
- Access to the Members Area on the GUCC website
- Downloadable music (where appropriate)
- Learning tracks
- Rehearsal videos

Current Fees
The Grand Union Community Choir offers a simple, cost effective membership package. Members pay a small, one-off joining fee and then a simple monthly subscription. (Members are also expected to purchase their own copies of any sheet music).
Rehearsals
The choir meets on a Thursday evening at Southcott Lower School from 7.45pm to 9.15pm.
Rehearsals are recorded. The recordings are available for viewing via the member’s website. This enables members who are unable to attend a rehearsal to ‘catch up’.
